The Season Program runs for six months and consists of weekly classes each Sunday from 9:30am – 2:00pm.
Successful applicants will engage in class work, choreography development, one on one mentoring sessions, and individualised artistry tasks. The program will accept between 15-20 dancers to maintain our elite boutique style environment, and ensure all successful applicants are given the personalised attention they need to absorb and achieve the most they can from the program.
Successful applicants will train in Bec’s signature movement style, which will then transform into creating a conceptualised, one-hour full-length show at the conclusion of the program.
Successful applicants will not only learn choreography, but also learn about other factors associated with the execution of Bec’s style, including anatomical principles, dynamic understanding and application, musicality development, manipulation of rhythmic and temporal structure, as well as creating and fostering individual artistry.
In addition to the movement component of the program, dancers will also undergo classes in goal setting, time management strategies, professional networking, audition techniques, dance on film and individual branding to assist dancers in achieving their future endeavours.
Dancers will train in all aspects of contemporary dance and show preparation, as well engage in creative tasks to elevate the mind and body.
BCCAP is a mentorship program in which dancers can thrive in a safe and supportive environment, with the freedom to develop at their own pace under the leadership of Bec Condino.
Dancers will develop a deeper understanding of movement and performance execution, as well as learning how to navigate various components within the professional industry.
